The Lovely Funke Ogunde got engaged yesterday to her handsome beau Ayotunde Adedeji. Funke has been known to have an obsession with all things Orange and yesterday i saw it in full glare! I hope she likes Citrus juice just as much as she loves the skin...loll. I stopped counting the layers of her coral necklace cos it was quite endless and beautiful too. Her skin had been prepped weeks before so her face could blend well with the rest of her body and be as smooth as possible. She obeyed my instructions, cleansed and moisturised nightly and i was happy with the results. Shes wearing BMPRO Luxury Foundation in CAPPUCCINO and BMPRO SASSY creme Lipstick.
Her coral neckpiece was a work of art and it fell gracefully as i placed it over her Cord fabric embellished Lace

Yemi Dipo Ayeni.
As punctuality (or not!) and brides go and in hand, i had to share this.
Yemi and I had gone over and over how the day would play out, with the Engagement cermony in the morning and church at noon, things are known to run behind schedule. I mentioned this but she said ''Nooo! i have this sorted, everyone will be on time Banke'' hmmmm.
The day comes and i proceed to the Sheraton Hotel right as scheduled, after my other rounds. Yemi had not even checked in... O-Kay! Buky her sister then comes a few mins later to usher me to the bridal suite, waiting. Yemi eventually comes in and announces she has to take a photograph with all her ladies from the engagement, so someone had to go back to the engagement venue to lead the girls back to the hotel.. so another full 20 mins of waiting and small talk while i stared at her face (and makeup) from the engagement, done by someone else..hmmmm **insert straight face emoticon**
Finally i was able to start her makeup at 1.30 (church was to start at 1pm) loll
By this time, the phones were blowing up, her mum had called approx 100 times..... she was very calm, chatting, directing the hair dresser and eventually we finished.
By this time (2.30) the photographer had set up for photographs and of course Yemi was going NOWHERE without having taken photos with her bridesmaids. The phone was on a constant ring but was decidedly ignored. I drove out of Sheraton at 2.45pm same time she went off to church. I later heard she got to the church about 3.15pm, and 1 minuite later her mum MAY have had a heart attack, so Yemi came in just in time and saved the day! loll.
Its funny now but that saturday was something else! The sermon must have been quite a lengthy one (in trying to prolong things) and i bet the Dipo Ayenis will never be forgotten in that church in a very long time!!!!
Heres wishing Mr and Mrs Adewale lots of Joy and Happiness in marriage and may all your blessings from God come right on time! **Mwuah**
