HOW TO CREATE THE CAT EYE LOOK!!!
The cat eye
The Cat eye look can be done with either eyeliner or
eyeshadow. Personally, we like to do this with eyeshadow because it gives it a
softer appearance. Start with an eyeliner and follow the lower lash line upward
towards the outer part of the eye. Pull your eye upwards with this cat eye
shape by applying your darkest shadow to the outer corner in a large winged
shape. Then, go over the liner with a pencil brush to set and soften the line.
Use the pencil brush to bring the color over the top part of the eye as well.
This shape elongates the eye making it ideal for people with rounder eyes, as
it creates an almond look to the eye.
Bonus tip
The Smokey eye look
This look is very popular. To achieve a smokey eye, simply pat a dark color all over the
lower lid using a flat, stiff brush. Next, use a soft dome brush with a medium
or light color and blend out the crease area to soften the look.

HOW TO APPLY FACE POWDER !!!
Before you start
To prevent powder from adhering too thickly to your the
skin, first make sure that your foundation and concealer are applied evenly and
not heavily,
If you tend to have oily skin or conspicuous pores, apply
face powder after tissueing off oil from these areas.
Using Powder Puff
Apply a generous amount of face powder onto the puff.
First, lightly apply powder on your face, while being
careful not to smudge the foundation applied beforehand. Then, gradually press
on more firmly.
For smaller or narrow areas such as around the eyes or the
nose, fold the puff in half and carefully apply powder.
An easy gauge for checking whether you've used the right
amount of powder is to feel your cheek with the back of your hand. It should
feel smooth and dry. After this, use your puff or finishing brush to dust off
any excess powder.
Using Powder Brush
Select a larger-sized brush for applying the face powder.
Place a generous amount of face powder on the brush, tapping
off any excess powder. Apply the powder starting from the front of the face
where you want to have the makeup last longer, such as the cheeks, the
forehead, and around the nose. Then, spread powder back towards the outer edges
of the face. By brushing carefully with the brush adhering close to the skin,
you will achieve a natural finish with a healthy glow.
If you have dry skin:
Apply powder after making sure that your foundation has been
spread evenly. But be careful to powder especially lightly around the eyes, or
on areas where you feel are dry. Then brush off any excess powder.
If you have oily skin:
Layer on extra powder at your T-zone, or anywhere else on
the face where your skin tends to be oily

HOW TO GET LONGER LASHES NATURALLY !!!
1)
Comb your lashes
It sounds weird right? There are
actually small little combs that you can use to brush your eyelashes out before
you put on that mascara, but did you know that by brushing your eyelashes, you
can actually make them grow a little longer? This is truly one of my favorite
tips on how to make your #eyelashes grow that is easy to do!
2) Use Vaseline
Instead of spending your money on something that could
darken your eyes, why not try something easy and quick? Just a little swipe of
Vaseline on your eyelid before you go to bed will increase your lashes and
will make them longer! This will take a while to see results, but trust me, it
works and it's so easy!
3)Olive Oil
I actually swear by this tip on how to make your eyelashes grow. It really works! Just adding a bit of olive oil to your lids at night
will truly help your eyelashes soak up all of the vitamins and minerals in
olive oil!
4) Massage eyelids
Eyelashes can fall out, they can even break and be brittle
if we do happen to mistreat them. This means that rubbing your eyelids and
actually stimulating the hair follicles can actually truly help make your
eyelashes grow stronger and longer in no time at all!
5) Vitamin E
Before you give up and go with just a lengthening mascara
though, why not try some straight Vitamin E? Vitamin E lotion is a great way to
really increase your eyelashes and really, the vitamin that will push your eyelashes to the max of growth
6) Diet
Did you know that your diet can actually affect how your
eyelashes grow too? If you have a really bad diet and are constantly eating up
fatty foods, you might see that your eyelashes aren't as long as they could
be. Switch up your diet and get some fruits and veggies in there and you'll
notice a huge difference!
7) Focus on protein
Sometimes, a healthy diet enough may not be enough to grow
your eyelashes back out. If you're not getting enough protein, no amount of fruits and veggies will fix it. While you shouldn't overdose on protein, you
do need it to grow your hair out, even your eyelashes. Eat more body-friendly
proteins instead of red meat or heavily processed powders. I like raw vegan
protein powders for a cleaner option, and like to focus on wild fish, which is
full of benefits. Eggs are another great option, but be sure to buy them from
a reputable source if you can.

3 TIPS TO UPGRADE YOUR WEEKEND MAKEUP ROUTINE
We know how it works: Friday afternoon rolls around and it’s
basically impossible to do anything but watch the clock tick sluggishly while
images of weekend freedom dance though your mind. If you’re like us, you also
spend a hefty amount of time considering the beauty looks you’ll be donning in
your downtime. Goodbye hurried, essentials-only morning makeup routine, hello
evening-long-sipping-wine-as-we-go primping sessions. Since the best beauty
exploration happens when you have those precious extra moments, here are three
easy beauty upgrades to try out this weekend.
1. Up Your Lash Game
Repeat after us: fake eyelashes are my friend. If you’ve
never been comfortable rocking the faux lash believe us when we say it’s much
easier than it looks, and the added length and volume make a huge difference.
Lush lashes look fabulous with any beauty look, from subtle to full-on
glamorous, and they have this uncanny ability to make us feel instantly sexy
and confident.
2. Swap Your Liner
We love experimenting with different colors in our time off,
and the easiest way to incorporate a new hue into your eye makeup is colored
eyeliner. From subtle navy to eye-catching glitter to a deep green cat eye
liner, there are plenty of options to cater to any adventure level. If you’re
going for a bold color, remember to keep the rest of your look subtle so you
don’t look overly-done.
We’re not ashamed to admit that we’ve been labeled “Lipstick
Junkies” in the past, so trying a new lip color on the weekends is naturally a
must. We wouldn’t even judge you if you planned your whole outfit around a
lipstick… we’ve done it (obviously). This fall our lipstick-loving hearts are
overwhelmed with colors to obsess over—burgundy, plum and scorching red to name
a few. Pair your bold lip with strong brows and neutral eye makeup for a chic,
modern look.

FUNKE FOWLER KUKU COVERS BMPRO FOR JUNE
Just before starting Funke's makeup the other day, I asked "Why are your Lower eyelashes so long?!!!!! And this Hair too, why?!!!! She looked at me apologetically and mumbled "I don't know o" I burst out laughing and said "Funke, chill! I'm not scolding you in fact I'm in Awe!" We both started laughing and she said
"Ahn ahn the way you attacked me ehn, I had to be sorry or something"Too much makeup doesn't flatter Her but strategic product placement is what I strive for when working on Funke. 100%Mink Eyelashes is also a personal favorite for her top lashline. They don't come cheap so I reserve them only for people in the know and she is definitely one!
A fashionable and stylish one to watch, she effortlessly stuns in her ensembles. Her love for BMPRO longlasting lip glosses has also made me love her more as she gushes about how great they are to wear alone and instantly add glam to any look. (Yaaayy!)
Usually quiet and reserved in her demeanor, this fashion retailer and altruistic young woman got me applauding the giant strides and impact she is making with her dressforsuccessng project.(www.facebook.com/
