So, having listened to Christines brief for the look we were to recreate on her wedding morning, i was excited to be doing something different from the norm. Earlier in the week i had given her my smoothing serum and facial wash to help reduce the redness of her sensitive skin. Im quite happy to mention its working so im on to a good thing!!
Christines friends are a boisterous bunch, having met quite a number of them over and over again at each others weddings as bridesmaids. The Hotel Suite was packed as my team and i arrived  before the environmental sanitation began. Still sleepy i proceeded to sit in one corner of the room and read my LOOK magazine but the gist kept changing and i couldnt help but laugh out loud at some of their conversations..Then Joke Saro casually asks "so christine what makeup look are we to have? Can we wear Red? NOOOOOOO!!! Christine says. NOBODY is wearing any red lipstick. Find something else to use. Joke looks at me and says "Anh Anh Banke!! What can we use then? I asked and they replied their dresses were red and silver, wearing red shoes, indeed the red lipstick may have been an overkill (or not!!). So i suggested a peach ,mauve and someone mentioned MAC Ladydanger. That sounded good too. Now for someone like Joke who is hooked on Red (she and Tinuke@BMPRO) do a good red lip, all the time!
Red Lipstick is indeed here to stay for now and once youre hooked its hard to stop especially once uve found the perfect shade.
Ify whilst doing her makeup kept repeating to us and herself "Christine so no red Lipstick ehn??" Ohhh God! to which there was a resounding "No REDDDDDD!" it was hilarious... I concluded that They all loved Christine and would do anything to make her happy including dumping their much loved, Sure-to-make-you-Sexy- RUBY WOO .
In fact they loved her so much they all wanted to look Hott on her train and this included getting their personal makeup artists to dole them up.......This also caused another hilarious tirade which i will bring to you probably when Joke gets hitched...loll. ''wink''
With  Christines hair done  by the BMPRO Hair stylist (and me) it was time  to start her makeup....
I started the eyes, using a pale shade, next thing she says to me " Banke i want bold smokey eyes( Im like "Smokey wo!!" -In my mind though) I said to her "No Problem. Now this is someone who had drummed it into my ears that she wanted the pin up look. (Heavy liner, Red lips and lots of lashes) Just because Joke and Tinuke were smoking themselves up and doing it nicely she wanted to change our plans!!
With her skin smoother and brighter i didnt have to spend too much time concealing and MAC STUDIO MIST FOUNDATION was a perfect match.  Her Lips were MAC Ruby woo set with a mattifying cream base. BMPRO Pumpkin blusher gave warmth to her face.
















In all it was a fun morning, I took my photos, satisfied with the way things turned out. Christine was happy, so was Joke and Obi (as Tinuke finished their makeup) We also adjusted Ngozis makeup, and off they went to a photo session with Duduguy and eventually to Church.....
