On Keira Knightley, makeup artist Kate Lee created a ‘reverse lipliner’ by drawing concealer around the mouth to seal the color (which was Chanel Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour in Marie).

On Reese Witherspoon, Molly Stern applied a darker foundation than usual, Laura Mercier Silk Creme Moisturizing Photo Edition Foundation in Suntan, to give her a “warmed-up sun-smooched 
feeling.”

On Chrissy Teigen, Marry Phillips created an invisible eyeliner by applying the darker tan shade in the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Molten in Nude Rush rather than an actual eye pencil.

On Gina Rodriguez, Carissa Ferreri, applied Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara
in Black as well as liner to her bottom lashes—a move that was new for Rodriguez. " Explains Ferreri, “The focus here was to open the eye by using a smooth, heavy blend as opposed to a heavy line.”
