NEW RULES TO WEARING LIPGLOSS (MUST READ)!!!

Rule 1: Unless you're going for a patent leather-y bold lip color, always go with a sheer bright or dark gloss hue. Opaque bold glosses are nearly impossible to keep looking neat, and they create a more over-the-top look than most of us are going for.

Rule 2: If you buy a gloss that doesn't seem to mesh well with your skin tone, mix it with clear gloss or petroleum jelly to make it more wearable. ".

Rule #3: If you have fine lines around your mouth, choose a gloss shade that's "close to your skin tone. This will make any bleeding that occurs with gloss less obvious.

Rule 4: Don't get caught with any icky gloss mouth. You know how some people seem to have a gloss/saliva combo collecting in the corners of their mouth and along the inside rim of their lips? We hope you're nodding. This can be prevented by exfoliating lips regularly. She uses the simple "Vaseline with a warm washcloth" trick to get rid of excess skin. If that doesn't solve the issue, carry Q-Tips with you to swipe the excess gloss/skin/saliva/whatever-it-is off the corners and inner rims of your mouth.

Rule 5: Protect your lips. "Wearing lip gloss is like wearing oil on your body," says Babaian, so you need to protect your lips with sunscreen.

Rule 6: "Don't rub your lips together. It pushes the lip gloss outward so your lips no longer look finished."

GENUIS CONCEALER TRICKS THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR BEAUTY ROUTINE !!!

FOUNDATION AND MOISTURIZER FIRST
Upon starting your makeup, you will need to apply the foundation first. If you apply concealer first, you run the risk of wiping it all off or blending it in the wrong areas when you put the foundation on. This also goes for moisturizers, that which can be mixed in liquid or cream foundations or underneath of a powder foundation for a pressed, beautiful matte finish. It is very important to apply moisturizer when using concealer, it serves as a good setting and holds it onto the face for longer. You will have a lasting look that is sure to please!

COMMON APPLICATION ERROR
When most people apply concealer, they use a half moon circular motion underneath the eye and then rub. This is an absolute makeup application faux-pas. When applying it, you will want to use a downward triangular motion. It is suggested that a small bristle brush, something light, be used to blend in lines underneath of the eye to completely cover the area and to provide to dimension. It conceals dark circles and instantly creates the illusion that your face is lifted.

EYE SHADOW PRIMER
Concealer also works as an excellent eye shadow primer, so apply some against the eye lid. Upon grooming your eyebrows, after filling them in or trimming them, you can also apply concealer against the angle of your brow with an angled brush and underneath to give it some beautiful shape.

GREEN CONCEALER FOR BLEMISHES
When concealing a blemish, cover the area with a green concealer before using a concealer that matches your skin tone. The green concealer will cancel out the redness of the blemish, and then the skin tone shade will be more effective in disappearing it.

FOUNDATION AS CONCEALER

If at any time you do not have a concealer, apply a small amount of foundation and allow three to five minutes for it to set and lightly blend it out. Do not blend too soon or it will rub off and leave you with very little coverage.

HOW TO AVOID MAKING A MESS WITH YOUR LIQUID EYELINER

STEP 1: YOU WILL NEED
Liquid Eyeliner
makeup Remover
cotton pad
STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR EYELINER
Eyeliner is excellent for framing and defining the eyes. Liquid eyeliner can give more precision than pencil liner, and can be longer lasting.
Choose a colour that works well with the eye shadow you will be using.
STEP 3: WHEN TO APPLY
Liquid eyeliner is great for creating a more defined line, but to do this it should be applied over the eye shadow.
STEP 4: PREPARE
Open the liner, make sure that the liquid is spread evenly, wipe off any excess or clumps.
STEP 5: ASSUME THE POSITION
Rest your elbow on a sturdy surface to steady your hand.
You can also rest your wrist against your face. Don't pull on your eye lid, it will stretch the skin, and the line you draw won't follow the curve of the lid when it's not stretched.
STEP 6: START AT THE TOP
Start the line in the centre of your eyelash line on your upper eyelid. Pull the liner along the eye so you follow the natural curve of your lash line. Use small connected dashes getting thicker towards the outer corner of the eye.
Liquid eyeliner is particularly useful to make a small flick at the outer corners of the eyes. This can make the eyes seem more open.
If you have large eyes, you can try drawing the line right from the inner corner of your eye.
STEP 7: THE LOWER LID
Once you have done the upper lid, take a good look. Liquid eyeliner is very heavy, in most cases, far too heavy to put on the lower lid.
STEP 8: PRACTICE
Liquid eyeliner can be difficult to get right. It is also difficult to make exactly the same on both eyes. You just have to practice lots when you have time, it is not a skill that can be hurried. Beginners should start with a very fine line. If you do make a mistake, you should to clean it all off, and start again

TIPS TO DRAMATIC PURPLE LIPS !

What's more interesting than red and more sophisticated than pink, rich purple lip colors in variations of berry, plum and aubergine are not only seasonally appropriate and currently trending, but are also flattering on any skin tone.

Always exfoliate and moisturize beforehand. Flakes and dryness are more apparent with darker colors.
Use a lip liner first and then apply the color with a brush to ensure a perfect application. Any mistakes will be obvious.

Keep the rest of the face minimal. Though if your lip color is matte, you can get away with a metallic (but neutral!) shadow or liner.

Don’t skip the blush. A subtle, rosy color will soften the look and warm up the face, but won’t compete with the lip.

HOW TO WEAR COLORFUL LIPSTICK!

1. MAKE IT WORK WITH YOUR SKIN TONE
The most important of all of the tips on how to wear colorful lipstick is to really take your time choosing a color that works best for your skin tone. Ladies with warm skin tones will probably look better wearing a lipstick that walks that fine line between a red and a purple, while ladies with cool skin tones can take their pick amongst tons of cooler purple

2. KEEP EYE MAKE UP NATURAL
This simple, well-known tip for wearing dark lipsticks doesn’t need a lot of explaining, I’m sure. Opt for sexy, nicely lined cat eyes that Angelina Jolie and Dita Von Teese are so fond of, or give a natural looking smoky eye a try

3) CHOOSE THE RIGHT HAIR STYLE
When your clothes are dark and your hair is dark and worn down, a colorful lip doesn’t say glam chic. Consider both your outfit and your hair when deciding to go with a colorful lip and don’t be afraid to make some small last-minute changes in case you notice they could upgrade your look significantly.
Is wearing colorful lipstick a big no-go for you and, if so, do you think these tips could inspire you to maybe give it a shot sometime in the future?

THE BEST WAY TO PLUCK YOUR EYEBROWS! (WEEKEND TIP)

Locate Your Starting Points
Flip your tweezer  upside down so the open end is pointing downward, and place it vertically alongside the outer edge of the bottom of your nose. The point where the vertex lands marks the beginning of your brow (which should also be about one inch above the inner corner of your eye). Using an eye pencil, draw a vertical line to demarcate the start of each brow, then check that the space above the bridge of your nose is centered between them. Remove the strays that fall in between.

"Grab strands right at the root and slowly pull them out.
