BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE 1

 I apologise for being silent online. Its been one hell of a roller coaster ride, filled with work, travel and all things beautiful. But here i am and if it takes weeks i promise i will upload every single photo i have taken.lol.
My Dearest Seun Ethel Cole got hitched on the 1st of December and it was the best reception party i attended this year!!!! I landed in hospital with fatigue (that was not a pleasant experience!) but it was well worth it. The only thing i regret is that i dont have a lot of pictures especially with me being a bridesmaid and being a bit under the weather :( it wasnt easy but i must say we managed to pull off an AMAZING PARTY for our Beautiful S>E>C. I left the party at 1am with Mr Lawal in tow and it was still rocking. We begged seun too to exit the building and go home to Pray , which she grudgingly did. :D   It was Collossal FUN!

WANDE!
She accused me of not taking her seriously when she came in to make her booking for her Coral Beads. Hmmmmm I already knew Wande would make a stunning bride so perhaps i didnt ask too many questions over the weeks. I also knew exactly what i was doing (in my head ) and when i replied her accusation with ''Wande please trust me, im not even doing a trial with you because it will not be the same on that day, and we have come this far!'' she let it go and just trusted me....She chose beautiful colors and her lace was a handcut Velvet which we matched with a very pale salmon Coral set from THE CORAL REEF . 1 jewellery fitting later all was set. I even accused Wande of not being herself on the day cos she was all smiley and reserved, enjoying being the centre of attaction. :)

when i finished doing pejus makeup, this girl said to me '' excuse me please, did you train with BMPRO, you know, Banke Meshida Lawal, because wow! your work looks soooo much like hers please give me your card i will call you! lollllll I probably should have just played along but i was on my way out and i guess i was quite shocked, so i just said '' I am Banke meshida Lawal :). It was her turn to express her shock at my weight loss next thing we knew we were talking Diet and excercise!!! what a day!









Tolu Odukoya.... Such pleasure we both had to finally be working together today. :). After months of randomly calling to confirm it was " me doing her makeup o, enhen"  it finally came to pass. She is uniquely colored, doesnt fall into the yellow or red skin tone group and as soon as i met her i was inspired in my heart. BMPRO Cappuccino saved the day as it was a perfect match to her skin. Makeup can indeed be strange because if one sees this product, one can dismiss it as being too pale. Like i believe, dont ditch it till uve tried it! For a transparent lipstick look, BMPRO Screamin red mixed with the flattering Sassy giving her full, pouty lips a deep orange finish.

Her greatest critic (we ALL need one!) he gave me the thumbs up. Scrutinizing her hairline and quietly taking everything in, he eventually said ''ur blending is good no masklike finish here''' Yaaayyyyy. I cant Imagine if he had said ''This is rubbish, go and wash your face you look like a clown! *Covering eyes* 



Perhaps friends of the same size, flock together! Everyone was able to rock the Oleku style nicely.....

We actually had a makeup trial where we decided we were going to use Burgundy on the lips. but on the day, it was so off, too colored and i just switched to a pale lip...... i think it looks better.....

Kene came in with a photo of how she d like to look. I must say i liked the look and since i got a thank you text afterwards, she liked it too :) Sadly i was unable to wait till she put on her dress before exiting the building. Damell was the photographer so i shall proceed to bug him for photos :)

OH HOW I WISH I HAD BEEN THERE TO TAKE A PHOTO OF DEBBIE! ANNABEL WAS MY ARTIST WHO ATTENDED TO HER AND SHE DID BMPRO PROUD! I HAD MY HANDS FULL ON SATURDAY SO DEBBIE CAME IN FOR A TRIAL WITH HER. THE TRIAL WENT OKAY, HER FRIENDS CAME IN WITH HER AND THEY SPENT THE DAY WITH US AT THE STUDIO. I HAVE LEARNT THAT TRIALS DO NOT USUALLY REPRESENT FULLY WHAT MY ARTISTS WILL DO ON THE DAY BECAUSE THE MOOD IS JUST TOO DIFFERENT AND SHORT OF COMING IN WITH THE FULL ENGAGEMENT REGALIA!!! ANNABEL USED BMPRO MATTE LIPSTICK IN CAMELLIA PINK MIXED WITH CALLA LIPGLOSS TOPPED WITH A VICTORIAS SECRET LIPGLOSS.

TSHELLETARI ERUNYUNTARI and TOLU AKINYELE.


So i was in London recently for the weddings of our two brides-TSELLETARI ERUYUNTARI and BANKE AWOSIKA.
TSELLETARI had sent me an email 4 years ago appreciating my work and said to me'' you are definitely doing my makeup when i get married---though i dont even have a boyfriend now''. Here we are fast forward 4 years, she had met the most amazing man and the time had come. I was drawn to her and knew i had to hook her up.I stayed at the beautiful MARLIN APARTMENTS, London Docklands where she had chosen to get dressed. It was a beautiful morning, the weather was awesome, my assistant IMELDA was a sport (as usual:) as i got her ready. Earlier on TSHELA had announced she was heading to the salon to go have her hair done. This was 8am. I had to leave her latest 11.30 am. I panicked!!! She was never going to make it back early enough for the day to play out smoothly... I was initially going to leave her to her plans--maybe this is how things are done in these parts! I trust my Naija Bride--go to which salon??? Heck No!! Full on Home service on Nigerian soil o.lolll.
I announced to her i will style her hair and i could feel the relief as she hugged me tight.:). Her proud parents also came to join her as she got dressed and when we were done, i was happy i had made her happy :).
Off Imelda and I went to Bride no 2, Banke Awosika at the Syon Gardens Waldorf Hotel.

I decided to mix two lip colors from the LONGLASTING LIPGLOSS Range. TOMATOE as the Liner and PINKIE as the middle color.



For the wedding morning, we first tried a soft pink which she didnt really like. She wanted more Va-Va-Voom so we chose a deep red. BMPRO MATTE LIPSTICK IN SCREAMIN REDD.
