THE TRIAL WENT OKAY, HER FRIENDS CAME IN WITH HER AND THEY SPENT THE DAY WITH US AT THE STUDIO. I HAVE LEARNT THAT TRIALS DO NOT USUALLY REPRESENT FULLY WHAT MY ARTISTS WILL DO ON THE DAY BECAUSE THE MOOD IS JUST TOO DIFFERENT AND SHORT OF COMING IN WITH THE FULL ENGAGEMENT REGALIA!!! ANNABEL USED BMPRO MATTE LIPSTICK IN CAMELLIA PINK MIXED WITH CALLA LIPGLOSS TOPPED WITH A VICTORIAS SECRET LIPGLOSS.

TSHELLETARI ERUNYUNTARI and TOLU AKINYELE.


So i was in London recently for the weddings of our two brides-TSELLETARI ERUYUNTARI and BANKE AWOSIKA.
TSELLETARI had sent me an email 4 years ago appreciating my work and said to me'' you are definitely doing my makeup when i get married---though i dont even have a boyfriend now''. Here we are fast forward 4 years, she had met the most amazing man and the time had come. I was drawn to her and knew i had to hook her up.I stayed at the beautiful MARLIN APARTMENTS, London Docklands where she had chosen to get dressed. It was a beautiful morning, the weather was awesome, my assistant IMELDA was a sport (as usual:) as i got her ready. Earlier on TSHELA had announced she was heading to the salon to go have her hair done. This was 8am. I had to leave her latest 11.30 am. I panicked!!! She was never going to make it back early enough for the day to play out smoothly... I was initially going to leave her to her plans--maybe this is how things are done in these parts! I trust my Naija Bride--go to which salon??? Heck No!! Full on Home service on Nigerian soil o.lolll.
I announced to her i will style her hair and i could feel the relief as she hugged me tight.:). Her proud parents also came to join her as she got dressed and when we were done, i was happy i had made her happy :).
Off Imelda and I went to Bride no 2, Banke Awosika at the Syon Gardens Waldorf Hotel.

I decided to mix two lip colors from the LONGLASTING LIPGLOSS Range. TOMATOE as the Liner and PINKIE as the middle color.



For the wedding morning, we first tried a soft pink which she didnt really like. She wanted more Va-Va-Voom so we chose a deep red. BMPRO MATTE LIPSTICK IN SCREAMIN REDD.

The Lovely Justice Atilade turned 60 on Monday sept 24th. Such a quirky- animated- full of expressions- woman, she is so unpredictable. I met her for the very first time the day before and i came away tickled. she is so Liberal (if only all women her age were like this, the world ll be a better place...sigh..) But then again she is a Justice so i imagine there must be a strict, no nonsense side to her (which i never want to experience!!) Femi planned the party and it was so well put together. The turnout of people (a magnitude)made me conclude that monday was the best day they could have chosen to at least control the crowd. WOW!


We settled for a red coral piece to contrast the powder blue lace, and of course BMPRO RETRO RED Lipstick.

During a hair and makeup consultation, i suggested we have funkes hair in a packed style. Having her hair down or around her face would have done nothing for her oblong face. we looked through  images of my suggested styles and settled for a loosely pinned bun. the coif in front was as a result of me randomly pinning a long lock of hair away while eneh was pinning the bun so i could also start her makeup and it was soooo beautiful we decided to keep it.

And i attended the wedding reception too! What fun we had, The DJ was awsome. BTW ive concluded that no wedding reception is fun without a DJ to rock the house. I left at 10pm and it was still rocking. Thumbs up Funke and Papatees! Im wearing  BMPRO Long Lasting Lipgloss in Peony , its a slightly darker shade than Gilly Flower. Applied with the fingers it gives a softer matte finish than when applied with the wand.
