NATURAL MAKEUP LOOK THAT GUYS ADORE!

1. Prep your skin. A great natural look starts with great skin. Make sure you're washing your face every night and using makeup remover. Once you've got a clean face, moisturize.
Make sure you're choosing a moisturizer made for your skin, especially if it's sensitive, dry, or oily. Next, give your foundation or concealer a base to hold on to with a makeup primer. We love the HD makeup base for foundation from BMPRO

2. Even out skin tone. If you've got great skin, go for a moisturizer, or just cover up red spots and slight discoloration by lightly patting concealer on the spots where you need it. Need a little more coverage? Apply a light, pea-sized layer of foundation all over your face.

3. The key to taking your natural makeup to the next level is a gorgeous glow. Our secret weapon: shimmer and highlighting. Light up your face with a few light dabs: on your brow bone and in the corners of your eyes to open up your peepers, and along your cheekbones to give your skin a sexy sheen.

4. Add a touch of color. There's a fine line between bedroom eyes and I-just-got-out-of-bed eyes, and that line is an eyelash curler and a coat (just one!) of mascara. Step away from the eyeliner and shadow for this understated look. Want a pinch of color on your cheeks? Choose a cream or liquid blush for a more natural, blended look.

5. Set it and forget it. If your skin is oily or your makeup is prone to sliding off by the middle of the day, set it with a light dusting of sheer powder. Skip this step if your skin is already dry. We also love make up base primer for oily skin which helps foundation glide on smoothly and easily.

COMMON EYELINER MISTAKES YOU ARE PROBABLY MAKING!!!

1. Dull tools
“More often than not people use a dull tool. That means you won’t be creating a clean, perfected line  when your sweep across with your pencil.

Simply keep a pencil sharpener in your bag and make a habit of sharpening your pencil as need be.

2. Not removing all of your eyeliner
We use eyeliner to rim the inside and outside of our lash lines,
“Removing all type of eye makeup can sometimes be challenging.”   But making sure you remove all   that makeup and liner residue is extremely important.

- “Apply makeup remover on a cotton pad and place directly over your eye. Hold for 5-10 seconds allowing the remover to absorbs into makeup before wiping. Repeat this step 2-3 times depending on the intensity of your eye makeup.”

3. Eyeliner gaps
“Mascara isn't the only product you should apply starting at the root of your lashes, be sure to do this with your eyeliner as well. Otherwise you could end up with a slight gap between your lashes and the liner – especially fair women.

QUICK WAYS TO FAKE PERFECT BROWS!!!

1. Add a little conditioner.
Your brows need just as much attention as your scalp and hair. Use your favorite serum, or organic oils like coconut, almond, or olive oil, to help keep your brows looking healthy and full.

2. Tweeze away obvious stray hairs.
This instantly cleans your face without re-shaping your entire eyebrow. Trimming really long hairs will also add more polish. Just be sure to use grooming scissors for more control and precision.

3. Brush them.
The same way brushing hair improves its appearance, brushing your brows makes them look instantly groomed. Just brush up and across in the direction of hair growth, which can also reveal stray hairs that you can pluck away.

4. Fill them in.
Brow filler will strengthen your brow shape and draw attention away from messy stray hairs. Pick a pencil that's two shades lighter than your hair color, or two shades darker if your hair is silver or blonde. If you don't have a brow pen handy, apply clear brow gel that will hold your hairs in place all day.

5. Add a little concealer.

Applying a dab from the lash line to your eyebrow bone helps conceal strays that can ruin your smooth brow line, and will make your brow look more dense and substantial.

NEW TRICK : REVIVE YOUR BMPRO POWDER TODAY !

"If a film starts covering your powders it's mostly from oils that have accumulated from the tools you've used whether it's fingers, brushes or powder puff. The powder stops being efficient after a while because of this hard film. The solution is to take a strip of clear packaging tape and press it down on the powder, rub your finger over the non-sticky part. When you lift the tape you'll have revived the powder so that it's no longer hard and you can use it again.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO DRAMATIC GOLD GLITTER EYES

1. Go with a palette that has golden hues then Prime your eyes with a creamy shadow.

2. Apply bronze, or the bottom left shadow to the inner and outer corners of your lid, using light strokes.

3. Apply dark brown, the bottom right color and blend throughout the crease using a blending brush.

4. Reapply a pencil to the center of lid to help your next color stand out more. Then, using a light bronze color, pat the shadow on your lid with a medium, flat-tipped brush.

5. Blend a neutral color, usually the lightest color on your palette, slightly above your lid using windshield-wiper motions, so there are no harsh lines.

6. Highlight your brow bone with a very light color that has a bit of shimmer.

7. Apply a waterproof black gel liner, to the lid and smudge the outer corner down with a flat-tipped brush. Then, using sparkly gold eyeliner, swipe it along the outer corners of your eyes and along your lower lash line.

8. Using a bright shimmery gold, pat the glitter sporadically on your lid with your finger.
Tip: you should use an adhesive to avoid having glitter end up all over your face. Just pat some on your eye before you apply the glitter.

9. Apply black liner on your upper lash line if you want even more drama (because you do, of course) and your favorite black mascara.

10. If your eyebrows need a little more definition, use a brow powder and apply the powder using short, light strokes.

READ ABOUT MAJOR MAKEUP MISTAKES !

Mistake No. 1: Wearing the wrong foundation shade.
Foundation is supposed to create a perfect, smooth complexion and cover-up any imperfections. This is why you should always use a foundation which blends in with your skin test it on your jawline (not your hand!) before buying, and when possible, ask for a sample first. That way you can try it at home and look at your skin in various lighting situations, to make sure the shade you choose looks natural.

Mistake No. 2: Applying makeup on dry, flaky skin.

The results of slathering on foundation over chapped skin is terrible and we have to agree. Foundation will only emphasize the flakes by sitting on top of them instead of blending in with your skin. Fix the dryness by exfoliating regularly (to get rid of flakes) and following that up with a rich moisturizer. Smoother skin means a much smoother application and finished look.

Mistake No. 3:Trying to "plump" your lips
You've probably heard, or tried, the trick of lining just outside your natural lip line to make your lips look bigger. But it's way easier said than done. One wrong move and you'll end up looking awkward. If you are going to attempt it, you can use a lip liner the same shade as your lipstick on the outer line of your lips, without passing over it. Fill in your lips as well, that way if your lipstick fades, you don't wind up with only a line around your mouth.

Have a fun filled day.

SAVE MONEY ON YOUR MASCARA

You can  add a few drops of saline to old mascara to make it good as new & get the last of any liquid makeup out of a tube using hot water and a small container, like a contact case.
Simply melt the product by setting it in warm water, then pour it out into a more shallow container
The hot water trick also works for getting the clumps out of dried mascara.

CURL YOUR LASHES THE RIGHT WAY
"The best way to curl your lashes is to curl at the root of the lash, at the middle, and at the tip. You don't need to clamp down with the curler, just squeeze lightly."

WATERPROOF MAKEUP IS KEY
"If you're worried you're going to cry on your wedding day,
don't forget waterproof mascara! "Even if you don't like waterproof," she says, "use it as an extra coat over your other mascara. And, if you're wearing false lashes, use a glue that's waterproof, too."

CARRY A FEW TOUCH-UP PRODUCTS IN YOUR MAKEUP BAG
"Carry at least your lip color, as that's what'll wear out the fastest and need to be touched up the most." If you use good quality face and eye primers, everything else should stay in place.
we also advises keeping some oil blotting sheets on hand. "If you don't want to keep piling on powder throughout the day, make sure you also have some oil-absorbing sheets so you're not just adding on more and more makeup. You can switch on and off — an application of powder, then the oil-absorbing sheets, and so on."

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN LIP EXFOLIATOR .

And for a super moisturizing DIY body scrub, just skip the honey and keep a big jar of brown (or white) sugar/olive oil mix in your shower.  Your skin will be happy, moisturized and gah-geously glowing without having to take an extra 5 minutes to slather on lotion afterwards.
