THE NUDE SHOW (3 GREAT TIPS) !

Nude Lips are the perfect way to make a bold statement in a subtle way. Nude lips have a classy, sexy look that goes great with dark eyes, sophisticated hairstyles or whatever you feel like styling' that day. You can pull off nude lips with practically any look as long as you do it the right way!

Exfoliate
You don't want a flaky surface to start out on. Guys want soft, kissable lips! Besides, nude lips show flakes and dry skin even more so than colored lips. Use a wet washcloth, an old toothbrush or a lip scrub to gently exfoliate all those dead skin cells off your lips!

Apply lip balm
Your next step to achieving the perfect nude, subtle lips after exfoliation is to apply a clear lip balm. This will help lock in moisture and give your lipstick something to cling to. You don't want anything really oily or glossy, go for a waxy, smooth balm that's not too sticky for the perfect base!

Choose your shade
When choosing a shade of color for nude lips, it's important to keep skin tone in mind. You don't want to appear sick or dead! Here is a pretty basic guideline to follow: if you have a fair skin, you can try a peachy, pink, or even a totally nude shade! Your pale skin will nicely enhance any of these shades. If you have a medium/dark skin, you can go for a peachy beige, or something warmer in color. Definitely stay away from truly pale beiges, creams or white tones or you'll look like a ghost!

THE BEST METHOD FOR TWEEZING YOUR BROWS !

Which hairs you tweeze and which ones you don't is the difference between attractively shaped brows and misshapen ones.
Try using an eyebrow pencil to draw on different shapes over your brow area to see which shape looks the best.
Use a magnifying mirror, at least a 5X magnification, so you can see each hair.
Go slowly (one hair at a time) so you don't over-tweeze.
The beginning of the brow should align with the center of the nostril.
The arch of the brow should fall at the back third of the eye.
The eyebrow should follow the length of the eye but it shouldn't extend into the temple area. The basic rule is that the front part of the brow should never drop below the back part of the brow. Allowing this to happen, either with the way you tweeze your eyebrows or the way you draw them on, makes you look like you’re frowning and overemphasizes the downward movement of the back part of the eye.
Avoid over-tweezing above the brow. A few stray hairs are fine to remove, but too much and it can create an unnatural look.
Do not overstate the shape of the brow; minimal brow alteration is best.
Do not pluck brows into a thin line thinking it will make your eyes look larger. It can look dated or give the face a surprised look and this shape is not easy to correct once the damage is done.

NEW MAKEUP TRICKS FOR TODAY'S WOMAN!

Concealer
Never put concealer or foundation on your eyelids as a base, it will cause your eye makeup to crease.

Foundation
Use your fingers to apply your foundation if you want sheer coverage and a brush if you more polished, medium to full coverage.

 Powder
Always apply powder where you are shiniest first, which it usually your T-zone, with a very light dusting everywhere else.

Bronzer
You should put bronzer on your neck, face, and chest to even out your skin tone. Be sure to take a step back and make sure everything is the same color.

Blush
When applying blush, first smile, then start on the apple of the cheek, blend the blush back towards the top of the ear, then down toward the jawline.

Eyebrow
Always apply your brow pencil or powder to the upper portion of the eyebrow to lift your face up.

Lipstick
You want to make sure your lipstick is not too defined at your cupid's bow (the top of your lip), and that it goes all the way out to the inner corners of your mouth. Be sure to press down hard as you apply.

 Eyeshadow
Always start with a base shadow without any shimmer that matches the lightest skin tone on your face and apply all over your lid up to the brow. You should use this base shadow to make sure the darker shadows used on your lid up to the crease are properly blended.

Eyeliner
Instead of looking straight ahead at the mirror, get as close to it as possible, stick your head up and bring your chin toward the mirror. You want to look down as you apply, starting at the inner corner and making sure to go all the way out to the fold on the outside of the eye.

Mascara

You don't want to do quick soft motions when you apply mascara. Instead, jam the wand into the root of the lash and do zigzag motions as you go up

THE SECRET TRUTH ABOUT RED LIPSTICK!

DO NOT DO AGAIN!
The TRUTH about RED LIPstick is that everyone can wear it, but you have to know the secrets to choosing the proper shade and application. One big mistake women make when they try on red lipstick is they forget to tone down the rest of their makeup (blush, eye shadow etc.) which result in clownish look. The color red makes a statement of its own so when you apply the rest of your make up, be sure to go for a soft natural look.  Here are some secret tips on how to make your red lipstick a love experience.

Secret 1
First and foremost, apply a concealer, especially around the border of your mouth; this will prevent the lipstick from “bleeding” aka smearing.
Match the shade of red to your skin’s undertone. We will use R&B artist to help give a visual effect, for example darker skin tones like Brandy would wear brown based reds, medium skin tones like Rihanna look great in true reds and lighter skin tones look great in lipsticks with orange shades. And of course if that’s not clear, I recommend that you visit your local make up store and get professional consultation from a makeup artist.

Secret 2
Line your lipstick with a liner that’s a slight shade darker than your lipstick, this will help define the lip line

Secret 3
There are two types of finishes you can have for your lipstick, glossy or matte.  You will appreciate the lighter shades of red in a matte finish, it last longer, gives a sexy pout and it speaks “fierce woman”; need I say more? The glossy finish looks extraordinary in darker shades of red; it shimmers, gives a bold look and displays an “I’m every woman” image.

Secret 4
Don't cheat yourself by purchasing a cheap lipstick because that’s the look you will get. Invest extra  in your red lipstick once you find your shade.

Secret 5
Put a Q Tip in your mouth, and pucker up your lips and slowly pull the Q tip from your mouth, this will remove any excess color and will help prevent the lipstick on your teeth.

Secret 6
Wear it with confidence. The color itself speaks a thousand words; make sure your attitude and confidence say the same.

Secret 7

4 EASY STEPS TO APPLYING THE EYELINER

1)Prep work
Eyeliner smudges so easily because the eyelids are the greasiest part of the face. Before applying makeup, reduce oily residue with an alcohol-free makeup remover. Then apply a light layer of foundation to even your base, and finish with a dusting of translucent powder over the lid. It will set the color and absorb oils throughout the day.
TIP: Skip — or cut back on — putting eye creams on your lids pre-makeup to avoid slippery textures later.

2) Try Gel or Powder Eyeliner
Any type of hard line on the face needs to be done perfectly or not at all.Messy liquid liner makes people look older and harsher." If you have rounder eyes, opt for powder and gel liners that will smudge enough to create an almond-shaped contour. Fine pencils and pens are ideal for more elongated or oval-shaped eyes.
TIP: Avoid dull or waxy points, and put pencils in the freezer for 30 seconds before sharpening.

3) Technique
Resist the urge to pull your lid taut when applying liner. When you let go, the line will look distorted. Instead, create your own eyeliner stencil by applying a piece of Scotch tape across your partially closed lid (press it on your arm first to make it less sticky). Then fill in the area below it, starting at the outer edges and moving inward.
TIP: Keep eyeliner on the top lid three times thicker than liner on the bottom.
And for extra staying power, use waterproof gel liners on the bottom lashline.

4) Make It Last
Great makeup requires touch-ups, so be ready to reapply. When relining, maintain eye contact with the mirror as much as possible. Eighty percent of your eye makeup should be done looking straight into a mirror for the best results.
TIP: Dab blotting papers on your lids throughout the day to catch crease buildup without smudging your line.

Tone It Down

If you have applied eye shadow that is a little too intense, don’t remove, just dip a shadow blender brush in bronzing powder, and sweep across the entire lid. The bronzing powder will work like a neutral tint, so it will diffuse and soften the color without changing it too radically.

For Lush Lashes
To get a better curl, Celebrity Makeup Artist and President/Founder of Mally Beauty, Mally Roncal uses the three-pump system with her lash curler. She starts with a squeeze at the base of the lashes, then a squeeze in the middle and ends with a squeeze at the tips of the lashes.
Once you’ve curled your lashes, Strand says to sprinkle a small amount of loose powder onto them, and then apply your mascara. Apply a second coat by zig-zagging the wand through the lashes to fan them out. You will notice that the powder helps to maximize the look of each lash.

For Fuller Lips
Connect the two points of your Cupid’s bow (the top of your upper lip) with a nude lip pencil, like  BMpro's eyebrow pencil  (bmpromakeup.com), before going over the area with a light gloss.

HOW TO APPLY BMPRO'S LONGLASTIING LIPGLOSS !

Before putting on a lip gloss, apply a light film of Chapstick or lip balm. It moisturizes and nourishes the lips, keeping them naturally rosy. Apart from protecting and healing, Chapstick also helps the lip color to set more effectively.
The best way to get a lasting effect of lip gloss would be to first, apply a lipstick to your lips and then, blot off the extra color using the tissue paper. Later, apply a thin layer of lip powder on them and apply a second coat of color. Complete the look, by applying lip gloss to make your lips look shinier than ever.
To tone down the shine, take a tissue paper and put it against on lips and press little loose powder through it. Only a bit of it will get sifted through it and will instantly reduce the shiny effect.
In case you are performing for a stage show and are required to radiate an extremely glamorous look, go for lip lacquer. It will give a greater shine to your lips.
To give a fuller look, direct the lip-gloss to the center of the mouth. Apply the gloss in short strokes, until the natural line of your lips has been filled.
For women who use matte lipsticks, you can avoid it from drying and flaking, by using a lip primer or color fixative, before application.
Special effects and highlights can be achieved, by using sheer silver, gold or iridescent lip gloss over lip color. This would be great for an evening wet look.
It is recommended to use creamy lipsticks for daily purpose. This would help to keep the lips moisturized. For adding an intense wet look, apply lip gloss to transform your makeup from matte daytime look to glossy night party look.

Women with thick lips are advised to use lip gloss very sparingly, as it would make your lips look all the more fuller.

LOOKING STUNNING IN RETRO RED !!!

1. Go easy on the blusher
A crimson pout will bring out even the slightest hint of pink on your cheeks, so use a light hand when applying blusher to avoid looking sunburned.

2. Can’t picture the shade on you?
Test the lippie on the pad of your fingertip as its colour is closest to your lips.

3. Make it last
Apply one coat and blot with a tissue. Then, dab on translucent powder onto your lips with a small brush and finish with another coat of lippie.

 4. Be precise
Avoid wonky lines by using a lip liner or lip brush for better definition.

KEEPING YOUR SKIN BRIGHT!!!

1)Enlist the help of regular facial treatments. While your at-home regimen is vital for daily maintenance of your skin's brightness, you can get a really big boost from chemical peels and microdermabrasion, A series of microdermabrasion does wonders for scars and dull-looking skin. For a more aggressive approach  BMpro's papaya cream  can be very effective.

2. Use a vitamin C-infused serum. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen (leading to fine lines and wrinkles). Boost your glow with the use of a vitamin C-rich product, and let this antioxidant help stimulate collagen production. Increasing the levels of this protein in the skin will help make your skin appear more supple and youthful.

3. Exfoliate regularly. Reveal new, fresh skin cells for a more luminescent complexion by scrubbing regularly. The surface layer of dead skin cells won’t have a chance to build up and create that dull look. No matter what your skin type, you can benefit from exfoliating, but you must be sure to use the right kind.

4. Brush your skin bright. Over time, some of your vices such as a poor diet, drinking, and smoking can deplete your glow factor. While working towards improving your lifestyle habits is always recommended, when it comes to your skin, you can improve the look of your skin with tools such as cleansing brushes.

5. Wear sunscreen daily. The sun's UV rays are a major cause of pigmentation. And once pigment sets in, you no longer look bright and glowing. While you can get laser treatments to help deal with pigmentation, be proactive with your skin care and wear an SPF of at least 30 daily to protect your skin.

ABOUT THE FACE PRIMER !!!

Primers are something that has gained popularity over the last year.  Still, not everyone uses one and the benefits from using a good one are too many to count!  Primers can help by reducing the look of large pores, filling in fine lines, and preventing foundation from looking cakey.  They also help with evening out the skin tone and making your makeup last much longer throughout the day!

HOW TO USE FACE PRIMERS

Use them after you apply your moisturizer, allowing at least 5 minutes for the moisturizer to settle into the skin.
Using a pea size amount of the primer and apply gently to the skin, paying attention to the under eye area.  This will allow any under eye concealer to glide on smoothly.
